Arianne Villareal (she/they) is a bi-coastal actor, singer, writer, educator, and community organizer. A first-generation Filipino-American born on the east coast, raised in the midwest, and grown on the west coast, she's always been a voyager, which she brings to every aspect of her life and work. She is based between Los Angeles and New York City. Their award-winning work has been seen on stages and screens across the country. They are especially passionate about developing new work by diverse playwrights, and have acted in world premieres and/or workshop readings with: Center Theatre Group (opposite Amy Brenneman), Skylight Theatre, Playwright's Arena, The Echo Theatre Company, Purple Rose Theatre Company, Phoenix Theatre, and Moving Arts Theatre. Arianne is also a fierce advocate for social justice and liberation, equity in the arts, LGBTQIA+ rights, and mental health. They're a community organizer/administrator for Filipinx Actors Barkada, an all-Filipinx artist group with members across the U.S. and Canada. In her free time, she cycles through her many curiosities and interests including: playing music, cooking, hot yoga, roller skating, giving tarot/astrology readings, traveling, Fortnite, random deep dives into YouTube university, and running a Survivor fantasy league. Above all, she loves to learn and grow.
